    I've been too busy to participate for a while so I figured this would be a good jump-start for my return. I spent the mornings this weekend with our host, James Shadle aboard the Hooptie Deux. It was a wonderful experience - highly recommended! :D

    Here is the first image I processed from the trip. I hope you enjoy it.

    Well ... definitely a great start .....Dan ...no nits from me...lovely colors...,feather detail and eye contact...well done ..thanks for sharing

    Beautiful pose and light as well as being tack sharp, possibly a touch tight in the frame for me, but I would love to have this shot:)

    Dan, you did very well with this image. I really like the nice morning light, it allows for good detail in your subject. I'd like to see a little more room around the bird as well. Very nice work!

    I'd prefer a little less of an underview, especially on the face, but terrific flight image! I like the two primaries peeking down under the far wing.

    Lovely light and I like the slightly blurred wings. I'll be hoping on the Hooptie Deux soon :)
