    Default Costa Rican Spoonie

From my last workshop during our incredible boat trip down the Tarcoles River. I pulled down the darks to give the image a bit more of a dramatic feel.

Doug, this is a great pose. Beautiful color and sharpness. I am not sure I like the BG that dark-looks unnatural to me.

I don't mind the dark BG but the spoonbill looks a bit dark too.

Overall, I still like the photo. Great pose, action and eye contact.

like the pose and details, wish the shadow line wasn't there (If you have CS5 try the content aware brush on the shadow line, it does wonders!). Feet are a bit too dark.

He's referring to the shadow that is being cast onto the neck of the bird from the wing.

Really love this pose and background, the look/interaction/head angle is really engaging to me.
