Great light, pose, perch and BG. I might sharpen the bird a tad more and desaturate the yellows a few points.

Bird looks plenty sharp to my aging eyes. Fantastic light and colours too. Not crazy about the perch.

Thank you Axel Bhai, will sharpen a bit, but the yellows are quite the same, they are actually turning into bright orange..

Kiran, one of the best of this specied. This is one bird I used to look forward to seeing on my trips to southern India. didn't have them in my neck of the woods. I find sharpness fine here too. and the perch as well. Beautiful BG and perfect head angle. Great colors.

How big a crop? surprised how the whole bird is so sharp at f/4. I'd like to see more room on top and a tad less below.

Looks pretty much perfect, Kiran. I love the colors and the detail, but what I love most is having the bird in this perfect pose on this special perch(that others don't like). Congratulations.

Thank you for your kind word of encouragement and for your valuable suggestions. Really appreciate it.

@ KD: this is about 60% of the original. the details is even throughout because my angle was parallel to the bird, not that I sat in that angle knowing that :D, I was lucky.
