    Default Osprey with small snack

    Got this on the boat with Al, Fabs and Axel. Lake Blue Cypress



    5DMKII 500 f/4, f/5.6 1/5000sec ISO 800. cloned a bright spot in BG.

    Cool pose, wing position, sharpness and BG. The color temperature looks a bit low and the whites are partially overexposed and quite bright in general. I think you mistyped the shutter speed. :)

    Thanks Axel, correct shuteer speed was 1/5000sec

    Colors look good on my screen, I checked the histogram for whites, it looks ok, but there are a few spots with 247 RGB level but I would sacrifise these to get the blacks here :D

    I went back to RAW and selectively recoevered the hot spots, fortunately none of the pixels in RAW is hot, here is repost after recovery with a bit more stauration

    Thanks Axel for pointing out, should keep an eye on hot spots. In the OP, I had not touched the colors so it was what the original scene was like, but I agree more saturation is always more appealing just don't want to overcook :)
