    woow, one of best shot ihave ever seen from you look very sharp with nice bg but i like more room around the littl owl

    Good look-back pose, eye contact and BG. It would have been great if the sun were lower and behind you for evenly lit eyes.

    I had no idea that there are Burrowing Owls in Iran, too. Thanks for sharing!

    The Little Owl (Athene Noctua) occurs in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East whilst the Burrowing Owl (Athene Cunicluaria) is from North and South America.

    Whilst they look very much alike your Burrowing Owl has very long legs compared to our Little Owl.

    Fantastic bird, the similarities to Burrowing are remarkable, except for the length of legs as mentioned.
    Love the BG and pose.
    Detail is nice as well, the shadow across the left eye detracts a bit but not much. :)

    Real nice image and solid 2X technique. DoF seems fine given the large aperture.

    Nice pose aaan an overall an impressive image. Bird is a bit big in the frame for me.
