    Joel it would be nice to hear what you were hoping to portray when you created this image. There doesn't seem to be a strong focal point of interest. A lower angle may have held the viewer focus more on the birds.

    As posted my eye keeps being drawn to the dark shore and not the three birds.

    Shot from a bridge to a river bank below, so there could be no lower angle without jumping off the bridge. The point of interest is the egret, its eye near the top right third. I have a number of viewers say the image has an "oriental" feel. Think the mud can be selected and lightened with levels?
