    Default Synchronized Flying

3rd duck was on the bottom of this photo and OOF. 3 of them came in so quickly. They were brave, was hoping the Eagles would make them a peking duck meal yesterday. :)

..that is cruel Troy but would have been exciting :) Like seeing flaring poses for both .... almost got perfect wing positions for both, do like it as presented, great having enough dof since both birds are in the same plane !! ... excellent exposure setting !!!

Yeah, very cruel of me to say that. But never saw the Eagles attacked anything that is around there for any reasons. They only fought back when Ospreys were harassing them. And of course, I did not get any decent shots of those to post, but just to witnessed them fighting so close was a rare opportunity.

Have seen Ospreys going after a juvi eagle and take its fish !! Not sure they would do so to an adult? Could only imagine if one of those two would have been nailed !!! Sweet image Troy !!

Not sure but these ospreys attacked the adult. I am not sure if the BE have stolen their fish or attacked them before. One thing for sure though, their nests are not far apart, could be trying to let each other know their presence I guess.

    Thank you, Al.

Hi Troy, Very nice image for reasons mentioned. The techs are right on with good detail and beautiful light. Would also like better wing position on female but otherwise well done!!

Very nice composition Troy. Nice to see both ducks sharp and similar poses.
    Well done.

Not so many ospreys close to where I live but tons of eagles. I have seen them take gulls off the water and ducks out of air. I just missed one take a cormie off a pile-I was pixel peeping!!

    Dan,
I looked at the entire sequence, I don't think I have a better one. It was one or the other. :)

Dave, I would love to see that in person someday.
