    Al,

I have to say what a fabulously silly looking animal this is:)

A remarkable absence of noise from ISO 3200, what's the secret?

Al, wished you posted this later in the season as it always reminds me of one of my favourite TV series, Northern Exposure :D Love these guys, any shots with the 'bell' under the jaw. good to see them like this and not on the wall. Excellent results at the high ISO.

Hi Al, you did really well in what looks like very little light, with lots of lens and pretty slow shutter speed. Excellent portrait with ears, eyes and nose all sharp. Liked the composition. Well done.

The cows and the bull took up residence in a trailer park .... not around but in !!! Would walk around the campers !! Never saw the bull make an aggressive move but the cows did on two occasion that I could see and only worked the area two days !! Gros Ventre Campground, Wyoming

Great sharpness, especially at that shutter speed and f-stop. Well done Al!

Looks nice. I like the sharpness at that low shutter speed. The entire head is nicely rendered. Looking at the second image, I wonder how fast the moose can run/chase?

    Cheers,

.. a lot faster than humans can !!! On the two times I witness the chase, people dove into or under campers :D:) Generally they are not aggressive but extreme caution must be taken.

Nice portrait and detail in the moose. Maybe just a little more space on the right.

Except during the rut when bulls are very aggressive. I was charged by a bull in velvet & all I was doing was walking past him.
Very nice image. I like the HA & eye contact.
