This one is a Medium Tree Finch, which lives nowhere in the world except on the island of Floreana in the Galapagos. Wish I could have gotten a lower capture angle. C&C appreciated.

Hi Bill Don't mind the angle just the bg !! I think you can blur it some and darken the corners, will make a difference !! Bird looks good, sharp and well exposed !!

Hi Bill - not that steep - dont mind it - Like AL'S idea of blurring the BG a little!!
If anything I would have wished for some head turn away from you - hard to be picky though when you have a bird that only lives in ONE place on the planet.
    Good show!!

Hi Bill, very rare bird! Agree about angle and backround. Lighting appears even and the subject is sharp. Lucky to get a good representation of the subject!

Thank you Al, Lance and Dave. I did feel fortunate even to see this guy; getting even an imperfect image was a bonus. Here's a repost with some Gaussian blurring of the bg, and burning of the corners. Hope I didn't overdo the blur. Thanks for the suggestion.

The repost is a lot easier to look at and spend time looking at the bird. Much better.

I like the nice details in bird as well.
