LOVE!! the buildings in the BG - is this Miami beach - well cant remember if thats what its called - but reckon I have stood in that spot - cant remember the name of the place I stayed - resort right on the beach front.

Anyway - love the banking pose and the buildings in the BG - add so much to the story.
    Love it!!

Love the banking turn, wing and tail spread, great eye contact and detail. I'll take a contrarian position on the buildings.

Love the pose and perfect wing spread. I agree w Bill don't care for the building maybe because no connection to the locale.

... Imagine the building is confusing unless you know the area, is placed in the image to show the are birds choose to set up their breeding colonies .. crowded beaches with lots of people around.

Will post more in the next few days with and without buildings .. lots we try to work buildings on purpose... have some of each :)

Hi Al, Love the skimmer! Great detail, lighting and wing position. I go back and forth whether I like the buildings or not...

    Lovely pose Alfred.

I can understand both sides of the story on buildings.
I do think that dragging the trees down to cover white beach would help my eyes though.

    I really like the detail.

I like the buildings. And I live in a building so how can I not love it? :D Why do people always think birds only exist in the wild ?

The bird looks excellent...sharpness, details and colors.
