    Hello everybody, i took this picture on Laguna del Lagarto Lodge, in Costa Rica on december 2009. is a especial place bulding by photographer for photographers, has 3 hides in especial places to see many especies of bird of the rain forest. hope you like it! like always comments and suggestions are welcome!

    Beautiful bird, love the sharpness, the detail, the open beak pose, the perch and background. Very nicely done.

    Cool bird, the open bill adds to it. I also like exposure control, soft light and BG. I might run NR on the BG.

    Welcome. Aside from the BKGR noise this is quite special. Wonderful bird, pose, BKGR color, and even the pretzel perch are all quite nice. I think that the whole thing could go a bit lighter.

    The lighter version looks good, too, but the yellows are partially overexposed now.
