    The Galapagos Dove is endemic, although fairly common, on the main Galapagos Islands. This was shot last month on Espanola. Cloned out a few distracting spots in the bg. C&C welcome and appreciated.

    Excellent shot.. imo, the looking down pose is not desirable in this case, as it does not have much down there to see., but I like this image overall.

    This is a very beautiful bird, the blueish eye ring is amazing. A lower angle would have made it even stronger if that was an option.

    Bill, I like the diagonal pose, and that eye stands out very well. I like the inclusion of the plant.
