    The tail makes it interesting. However, I would have loved some more details in the whites.
    While composing this shot, If I would have had time, then I would have tried to increase the height of the camea, so that the bird is more with a brighter background rather than the dark green at the top. Ofcourse, this is more of wishful thinking. I don't know how long the kingfisher sat there and how big was your blind.
    Overall, I liked it.

    I too like the sassy tail William. I do find the whites in the neck area a little hot on my monitor and I would also like to see a little cropped from the left as the bird is centered in the image. Lovely feather detail in the wings and a nice head turn and eye contact. You did well to catch this bullet. Thanks for sharing.

    Wow - that's just great...first thought seeing it, "I could never get that close without a blind." Really love the tail too!

    Thanks for the comments it is the belted King fisher .The whites are very hard to photogragph in the neck they allways over expose but i/m going to work on it .As far as the back ground i didn't have time to change angles..
