    Default Magnificent Frigatebird

    Here is a picture that could be the passport photo of the bird:-). I Wish the top of the beak was sharp as well. Was taken in Yucatan in April.

    I really like this a lot.

    Perfect exposure and sharpness, great eye contact.

    I might try a little selective sharpening on the front most portion of the bill (I know it's just out of the DOF range).

    Cool pose, good eye contact and sharpness. I agree with Jim about sharpening the tip of the bill more and would lighten the iris.

    Very nice composition! The tight crop works really well here. Those long bills make it tough to get everything in focus, even at f/8! As pointed out, some selective sharpening of the tip of the bill may help.

    Nice portrait. Details look good and I like how the dark wings serve as a frame.
