School's out and I decided to head to Florida rather than Michigan this year. I just wanted to see the beach one more time.....before the oil hit. My goal was to get some chicks this time of year....and I was fortunate to find the Wilson family so cooperative.

This has a great cuteness factor, Lana. I like the composition & BG.

Great find and good to see parent and chick in the frame. I might sharpen the birds a bit more. Let's hope not much oil will reach Florida.

    Lana:

Nicely captured. My first thought was that the image was too bright, but the exposure looks pretty darn good, and I suspect this is an accurate representation. The adult looks sharp enough to me, but the chick could stand a touch more sharpening. I know they are kind of fuzzy and indistinct, but a bit more around the eye would be nice.

    Cheers

Lana, a very appealing image all around. Comp, exposure, behavior, and detail. Excellent.
