We came across a pair feeding on this apparently naturally dead male Impala in Northern Moremi 30th April 2010.

When we returned later the Vultures had almost cleaned the skeleton.

Fabulous image! The composition, sharpness & everything els is perfect, i just feel you could reduce the brightness a little(or it may just be the monitor im using at work). Lovely image once again.

Great find, I like the composition and eye contact and would only tone down the highlights a bit.

Great habitat shot and the inclusion of what will be breakfast is excellent.

I'd burn / tone down all of the highlights behind the subject.

Thanks for all of the sound advice, I have given it a go and I think it improves the image a lot.:)

    Al,

We were surprised as well we got out and took a look at it there were no marks on the neck, and the opening in the stomach was very small, probably made by the Tawnies. It was the start of rutting season and they often tire themselves out chasing the ladies around, perhaps this one just ran to far?
