OK I have been away for a while due to a lot of work and other obligations I won't bore you with. Anyway, this is an image of Bat Eared Fox on a termite mound turned into a den from our Tanzania trip this past winter. It was about 1/4 mile from camp.

1D4 with 500 and 1.4 TC on bean bag from Land Rover. Evaluative metering at ISO 1600 and f 11 (to get the nose and ears and both animals in focus) and 1/400 sec. EV + 2/3. Cropped to about 80% of original.

Thanks for looking C&C most welcome.

    Ed,

You were very lucky to get such a good sighting, we have spent almost a year on Safari in Africa and have had only 4-5 sightings and very rarely in good positions or light.

These are one the "cutest" animals in Africa, and you have got a great image, and made the most of your luck.

Like the expression of the foxes and the way the mound leads the viewer to the foxes.

Cute foxes. The depth of field is adequate for both. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
