I've been at a loss this week trying to figure this out. Elements has a 3D effect which I used on these pentas but it didn't do much so I played around with blurring and lightening the bg and then I used spherize which seemed to help it a lot.:)

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Really cool look Cheryl. I like the colors and the sphere work. This really has a 3D look to it. Nicely done.:)

I might try it on a black BG Cheryl. Would have been nice to see one of the flowers in sharp focus, but I do like the sphere a lot.:)

Cheryl, delightful 3D effect! The oblong shape gives it a liquid quality. Well done.:)

The spherize filter really does make a flat image look 3D. This is a great example.

Really great effect. Agree with above that the sphere you created does make the image seem 3D.
I like the flowers on the side of the sphere that seem to extend outside the sphere.
    Nicely done.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Deborah, my favorite part of the image were the flowers on the side also:)
