    This image was taken in 2008 at a pond in Windsor. I cloned some of the perch out on the left side. All C&Cs welcome and appreciated.

    I like the screaming pose, eye contact and sharpness. The light looks a bit harsh but you handled it well.

    The pose is great. Agree with Axel about the harsh light. Nice gradient BG.

    Love the screaming pose and the fact that you are leveled with the bird. Light is harsh for sure, but it is still a nice shot.

    Jim, excellent sharp detail, and I like the pose with the open beak. The heron is separated from the BG nicely.

    Any PP'ing options that would reduce the look of that harsh lighting?
