    I guess the only draw back to being an egret parent, is that the young ones are out of their nest relatively quick. But I can't help but sympathize with this poor mother egret who is part of a feeding frenzy here; beaks everywhere....

    The pleasures of parenthood. :) I like the interaction and sharpness. Exposure control looks good, too, in what looks like relatively harsh light.

    Like the interaction. Did you apply NR? Looks like there is no details on the whites.

    Troy, I did add a pass of NR. I'll try it without and see if I can pull more detail from there.

    Personally, I usually do not use any NR on shot from 400 or below, unless it was underexposed with some noise.

    Nice interaction and good exposure, agree that whites lack texture due to NR. Should not be doing NR at ISO 400 on whites.
