This bird is colourful but its more colourful in flight.
Have cloned some parts of the sky BG in front of the bird but let it be behind the bird as the BG was looking too monotonous.
Spec: 1/1000, F 5.6, ISO 800, + 2/3

Kiran, didn't know you upgraded to 1D. congrats. glad to see you do more flight shots. Lovely colors and comp. Nice sharp head and loved the wing blur. Awesome angle as well. Well done as usual.
Thank you KD bhai, Got it a about 2 months ago, Still getting used to it..
Nice to see you doing flight Kiran! And I hope you're enjoying the new body. Love the head angle and the even light. I'd probably go with a tighter crop.
Upcoming Workshops: Bosque del Apache 2019, Ecuador 2020 (details coming soon)

Thanks Doug Bhai, Yeah sure I am enjoying the speed.. will try a tighter crop and post.. thanks again..
Kiranbhai, I agree 100% with you that these guys are very colourful. Inflight you have captured their amazing colours, and the angle shows them off nicely. Well captured.

Welcome to the world of flight photography. excellent colors against a beautiful uniform BG, flight angle is great too.Personally I would have raised the ISO to 1600 here for more SS, these guys are fast fliers!!!

Sharp where it counts & I like the slight wing blur giving a sense of speed & the colours. Well captured image!:)
nice job interesting capture
Great capture Kiran. I love the action and sense of movement. I like the crop -- it gives the bird space to move into the open area of the canvas.
The pose and eye contact are very cool and good to see you do some flight photography, too. I agree with Arash on raising the ISO, 1/1000s for speedy birds is not quite enough.
A colourful image Kiran. Sharp where it needs to be and good HA. Well done!
Thank you all for your kind word of appreciation and suggestions.
Yeah the SS was a mistake from my end. When I set myself up for the shot I had about 1/2500 but just when the bird was about to take off the sun went behind a cloud and this :D
