This bird is colourful but its more colourful in flight.

Have cloned some parts of the sky BG in front of the bird but let it be behind the bird as the BG was looking too monotonous.

Nice to see you doing flight Kiran! And I hope you're enjoying the new body. Love the head angle and the even light. I'd probably go with a tighter crop.

Kiranbhai, I agree 100% with you that these guys are very colourful. Inflight you have captured their amazing colours, and the angle shows them off nicely. Well captured.

Welcome to the world of flight photography. excellent colors against a beautiful uniform BG, flight angle is great too.Personally I would have raised the ISO to 1600 here for more SS, these guys are fast fliers!!!

Great capture Kiran. I love the action and sense of movement. I like the crop -- it gives the bird space to move into the open area of the canvas.

The pose and eye contact are very cool and good to see you do some flight photography, too. I agree with Arash on raising the ISO, 1/1000s for speedy birds is not quite enough.

Great posture Kiran, what a spectacular species. Why the low shutter speed?

Thank you all for your kind word of appreciation and suggestions.

Yeah the SS was a mistake from my end. When I set myself up for the shot I had about 1/2500 but just when the bird was about to take off the sun went behind a cloud and this :D
