Hi Jay, Good view of a pair in even light. Good exposure which brought out detail in the feathers. Backround appears well muted but for my taste I would crop a bit off the top...

    Jay,
Nice capture of two! Like the steppin' in sync. Dave covered most everything.:)

In addition to above I would sharpen the birds more, they look a bit soft.

    hi jay
like the raised foot on both birds.
agree with you about the Iso shutter speed a little slow for the focal length - IMHO nothing better than thevd3S
    for high iso.
nice detail in the whites - could use some more sharpening though.
    doing well.

    Very nice composition.
Interesting how the colours are different on each bird.

I like the idea of a bit off top also.

    Nicely done.

i agree with the sharpening and crop suggestions. i like that you got two different birds. i never noticed the color differences. i assume one is male and the other female? male in the front?

    Harold,

That's what I assume...........the male being the orange colored.

    Thanks,

Good looking pair Jay Agree with suggestions particularly raising your ISO !!! Like the similar leg poses .. can only imagine both in clean water !!! btw for this I would not do any stick removal, just enjoy the image !!

    Alfred,

Thanks................I actually had already done some stick removal, the male had one a little too close to his
    tail feathers ;).
