    Arash, another great shot.
    Just a bit too sharp for my personal taste.
    The adults were no where to be found this past weekend.

    Nicely done!! No such thing as too sharp for my taste unless there are halos. And I see no halos. :) Beautiful wing position and head angle here.

    Colin, there is no halo but I see the dark line along the neck, plus white along the wings.

    Cool pose, good eye contact and the nesting material adds interest. Sharpness looks good on my monitor, I can see Troy's point, though. Ideally, there were no shadow of the legs on the lower wing but the light angle was what it was.

    Could be from the angle of the light. I was not 100% sure.
    A great shot for sure.

    Thanks guys the dark line on the neck is the shadow line it is not a sharpening halo. here is 100% crop from RAW

    Everything that's in the image is natural and was there in the RAW :)

    Arash, the angle of flight here, is simply stunning. Full wingspread, and showing good underwing detail. I like the cuvature of the wings too, together with the overall sharpness. Could he maybe have picked up something slightly bigger for his gift.;)
