    Had the opportunity to photograph these little guys this past winter, and really enjoyed observing them do their thing.

    40D w/ 400 5.6L
    1/2000 f/5.6 iso320

    John,

    Cool image. He doesn't even look real - just too cute. I like the side-lighting and his alertness. The grass to his right is a bit distracting and if it not an issue for you, you could remove it but that is a minor quibble.

    lovely image...wud had loved a lower angle.........but i dont know what constraints you working with eg hide/car etc....

    Awwwwwww, cuteness alert needed! Look at those paws, they look like a gorgeous toy.
    Beautiful picture, asides from a lower angle, I wouldn't change a thing :)

    I like the low-angled side lighting, and your composition with the ermine's head on the thirds. Excellent work with this cute little critter!

    Oh how cute! Well done. A lower angle might have been good, but then, it might have also brought more brush into view.

    Very nice photo John. The exposure seems excellent. This angle works well for me here and the only thing I would do is clone out the sticks on the left.

    Love this one John.. As mentioned the FG stick lower left could go. Great light and a fine compostion....

    John, this is awesome. I love the lighting and the almost posed look of this Ermine. Beautiful white tones throughout...very well done!

    are you sure that's not a studio shot with a stuffed animal?----lol--looks to me to be pretty perfect!
