    Going through old images and cleaning things up found one I liked, common bird but bg was appealing

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

    Al,
    Excellent image, do find gulls difficult to photograph and you got the best pose possible, wings down and strong eye expression. wonderful BG, nice details and exposure. might just add a bit canvas on the bottom if it is not too much trouble.

    Love the blue as a BG. Great angle you had to shoot this one. A very fine Gull image. Detail is amazing.

    I like the look-back pose and sharpness but the BG really makes this one, looks like clouds underneath. The whites could go a tad darker for my taste.

    Hi Alfred,
    Nice top view, head angle and Bg, I agree with Arash's comments about adding canvas to the bottom.

    Like it a lot Al...just wish for a bit more canvas on the bottom.

    What is the background BTW?

    Pose, sharpness and exposure look great.

    Love the top view. Exposure is spot on.

    Great flying posture Al, and just love the detail from the top. Good eye contact and HA, and I really like the overall exposure. Congrats.
