    ... no clue but he is about to find out !!!

    Classic pose for these birds and one difficult to get ... congrats !!! For most of these the head could be ok but its dark and poorly illuminated, beak out of view, lots of things can happen Here you got a clear view of the action ... about all I would want is more room around it just feels a little tight !! Excellent !!!

    Hi Troy, Agree with Al and I like how you handled the image. The subject is well lit,muted backround and has good detail. The pose is an interesting behavioral trait thats not often captured. Most of the time it's with open wings shielding the sun. He might be doing a bit of preening...

    Hi Troy - nailed the exposure and caught the POSE as well - couldn't ask for much more.
    Little tight for my tastes.
