This image was created at Nickerson Beach. Denise and I had hoped for a repeat of the spectacular golden orange yellow sunset of the previous night but it was not to be as the clouds rolled in. So we opted to make soup from a stone and create some blurs and flash blurs. (The flash blurs became blurs when the flash did not fire because it did not have enough time to re-charge :))
Canon 100-400mm IS L lens handheld at 400mm with the EOS-1D MIV. ISO 200. Evaluative metering +1 2/3 stops: 1/30 sec. at f/6.3 in Tv Mode. Flash mounted on camera with Better Beamer; ETTL at zero with rear curtain synch.
Don't be shy; all comments welcome.
ps: We have been working on the Guide to Pleasing Blurs :)
