While I was surprised that Icelanders eat Puffin and Whale, really horrible shark....they left Eiders alone. There were 100's of thousands of these birds. One of the locals told me thay were protected and every year when nesting they harvest the down. This drake was in one such place...very close to the water. Giving me a chance to get close.
You did well with relatively harsh slightly off-angled light. A bit less head turn would likely have improved this a bit.

Nice job with the contrasting white and dark parts of the bird for the most part, which always is hard to capture. Might have overexposed the neck a bit.
