Shifting gears from ospreys to more colorful subjects, a goldeneye pushing water !!!

For this one the centering subject seems to work but did try placing the eye third way up the frame !!

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

The blues and golds play off nicely against each other. The bow wave really makes it! Everything about this one works, Al. Even I wouldn't mess with it!! :D

Very unique action shot, love the colors, comp works for me. What was it doing? BTW I think it's a Ring-necked Duck.

Great shot with the water so high, but it's definitely a ringneck duck though.

The eye contact, bow wave, and colours make this an awesome image. I agree that centering the subject works well. Thanks for sharing Al.

Love those colors and water action! I really like these guys, and we get a lot of them around here. Always cruising around the pond! Nice capture!!

Al, excellent handling of one tricky capture!!! Little, dark duck against a dark reflective background. Wonderful results! Love the colors!
