    one from my hooptie trip last week with james.

    D300, 300 f/4 at f/7.1, 1/1000s, ISO 400, manual exposure. only a slight crop off the top for composition.

    looks very nice, like the full wing span. good exposure too, think you can bring out a bit more detail from the blacks. TFS.

    thanks arash. i have reached my threshold in bringing up the shadows. dont know what else to do without introducing uncontollable amounts of noise.

    I like the composition and nice wing span.

    Just needed that bit of light under the bird, hard to get though.

    Nicely focused with bird flying directly at you.

    Hi Harold As good as you can do for that pose, like to see fuller wings !! When they flare to land or directly overhead Tough birds to shoot !! Looking forward to checking them out soon !!!
