    This one's very nice Jim. Loved the comp and the clean BG. awesome details in the blacks. Perfect exposure. Thx for sharing.

    Setting up on territory with 4 other males in a large field.

    Two of them would alternate on this particular perch while the others stayed either low in the not yet tall field grass or on top of a dead maple tree.

    Interesting subdued light created by filtered sun and haze thanks to smoke from the forest fires raging in Ontario to the north.

    I like the soft light, BG, look-back pose and BG and would only sharpen a tad less.
