    I agree with Dan about the BG as it takes away from this image IMHO.

    Sharpness, exposure and pose are perfect to my eyes.

    Hi Jim,

    Great looking bird with a nice banking pose which displays the underside wings and very well. The bird appears well exposed and has good detail. I personal;y do not mind the background as there is just enough detail to to show habitat without being distracting (personal taste). I did try darkening the background a little and in my opinion thought it helped make the bird standout. Just a suggestion as I l do lile it as presented.

    Hi Jim

    Great detail and exposure here. I like the background here as shown and just enough DOF to pick out some habitat features without distracting from the bird. The pose is perfect.

    The spoonie is showcased as well as one could wish. I like the background but the trunk intersecting his head is a bummer.

    Very nice, Jim. Wish the BG was better but been there, and I understand what it is like. Keeper for sure.

    Personally I don't mind the background. The bird is absolutely perfect in every way.
