I went out this morning to Green Cay looking for Sponnies but they were gone. Luckily, the Egrets and Tri-colored Herons were very busy. This pic was taken with a Nikon D80, 70-300mm lens, f/5, 1/1500sec, ISO-400,
CWA, No flash, Aperture Priority, and handheld.

    C & C welcomed and encouraged!

    Regards,

    Oscar

Hi Oscar, I like this one! Beautiful light, detail, wing position and backround. These all add up to a very pleasing image...

hi oscar - good show - lots to like here --is this a large crop??
Seeing some artifacts around the place - looks like from were NR was run on the background and the selction was a little off.
Whites look good - some additional sharpening maybe??

Nice composition and well done on wing position.

Lots of detail here and I like the idea of a bit more sharpening.

Exposure on white looks good, a nice flight pose with bird coming toward you and wing down position. The dark blue background help viewer focus on the bird. I also see some artifacts especially in the background and the dust bunnies.
