    Nice image of behavior. I like the eye contact, detail in the feathers, and the perch.
    Not sure, but on my monitor the neck area looks a bit hot - could be juvie coloring (I have only seen an Am. White Pelican).

    Exposure looks fine from here, including the neck area. Superb timing with the feather-in-bill preening pose. The squarish, almost centered comp works for me here. Perhaps just a bit more sharpening to bring out the fine details for web viewing.

    I too like the square crop for this one. Beautiful detail. Exposure looks good here as well.

    Pretty neat moment captured, I like the pose and setting. I might tone down the whites on the neck a bit and agree that another round of sharpening would make it even stronger.

    Very beautiful shot. Love the whole intimate feeling of the image. Agree on the sharpening comments.
