It's been a week of fledglings for me, having documented kestrels, red-tailed hawks, western bluebirds, and Nuttal's woodpeckers. Here is a pair of bluebird fledglings. They were able to fly around but mom was still feeding them. They huddle in the late evening sun, eagerly watching for mom to return with dinner.
