this is such a sweet image Denise , excellent

Somehow I would have liked an even lower angle but perhaps it simply looks this way as the background slopes up into the fore dunes?
Agree that the subject needs some additional sharpening.
Too cute to pass up. A low angle would make this stronger , but still sweet as is.
Thanks folks. I would have gotten lower but I missed every chance the night before w/ foreground grass so I stayed at knee level.
I like it as is Denise. The higher angle gives the baby a more vulnerable look and I love the shadow. But really it's hard to tell if the angle is higher or if it's just the bg sloping up behind him. Either way a sweet shot!

Denise, I agree with others that lower angle would have been better. Loved the way how you've captued the fluffiness of the chick. Thx for sharing.
I know how hard you worked to get some good stuff on those little guys and am glad that you did. I love the compositional balance with the bird and the shadow lower left and the nice clump of green grass upper right.

Artie, It was so cool to even see them but you are right I wanted an image really, really bad -especially after seeing the ones I missed the night before when I was too low and you got the shot.:)
I did add a bit of sharpening to the image (thanks to everyone for the feedback)even though I do prefer a softer look for the chicks I think you were all right it needed a little more.
Hey D,
Saw this on your Blog......killer image and congrats on your first chick!!! You know how I feel about the lower angle crowd.....I think you see the feet and the angle is low enough to make eye contact....perfect in my book!
