And I saw a creature with colorful wings, flying around in indecisive circles, not sure of where to land. And I wanted to run after him, to follow his flight with the joy that only the innocent have and I know I will loose, to share the crystals of the sky defying the chain. But my wings are not strong yet, I can’t play.
And I fear the next time we meet it will be in the dance of predator and prey, when his flight meets its origin through my body.
But, Mom, last night I had a dream…

    Oh Fabs...

I don't know if I'm more touched by the poem or the fact that it's addressed to your mom.

It really does convey the circle of life at so many levels.
