Default Mom, last night I had a dream...

And I saw a creature with colorful wings, flying around in indecisive circles, not sure of where to land. And I wanted to run after him, to follow his flight with the joy that only the innocent have and I know I will loose, to share the crystals of the sky defying the chain. But my wings are not strong yet, I can’t play.
And I fear the next time we meet it will be in the dance of predator and prey, when his flight meets its origin through my body.
But, Mom, last night I had a dream…

Oh, Fabs. I love your poetry. So beautiful and so sad. I went to Viera Saturday and was told the limpkin babies fell prey to something. I hope the sandhill baby is OK as I didn't see them there, and the dragonflies were everywhere.

What a picture you have painted with your words!!! the photograph goes along nicely with it, not disturbing the mind-images at all...

I am only undecided on the 'bank' of the blurred flying dragonfly...

Very cute and imaginative. I like the soft light and blurred BG and the dragonfly adds to it. On my last day I couldn't find the chicks, I hope they made it.

Beautiful image. Great view of the crane chick in motion, and I really like the soft feel of the lighting and bokeh. The dragonfly brings it over the top for me.

    Wow.
