    I was out BBQ'ing yesterday afternoon and had my new 7d handy just in case anyone interesting showed up.

    This guy decided to show up in decent light.

    Hi Phil You did get light and all the tech settings look good .. exposure right on !!!

    .. now all you need is to get him landing on a smaller perch !!! Excellent !!!

    Good for you to be ready.

    I like the pose and the exposure.

    It would be nice if bird was a little bit lower to show the feet and just need a more natural perch.

    I also like the feather details.

    Good exposure which show good feather details, not easy with black bird, well done. Nice pose with good HA, wish that the feet is visible too. I maybe sharpen the eye a bit more.

    Thanks for the comments guys you have already been a big help. I'll need to learn more about selective post processing skills.

    I do have a couple more from this weekend that I'll upload 1 per day.
