Default Seals in the surf !!

After photographing these seals for a while decided to try something a little different and tried a slower shutter speed for capturing the incoming surf. Seals would just sit there without much moving !!

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

This is excellent and a great reward for trying something different.

I believe blurring the water in the background is what helps make this a great image. Of course it looks like you had a cooperative subject giving you a great pose.

Nice idea, but the waves are complete white. That's a pitty, otherwise it would be great i think

Hi Thijs That is the color of the surf when it breaks and there is nothing over? Not sure if you prefer not breaking surf and blue color? At times when its calm imagine you could get. For me the image is more about the surf than the seal.

... btw the slow shutter speed of 1/30 will take all detail out of water and give it a different look.
