    another one of the Jrs learning how to fish. removed one pelican on the right and added some canvas down below. too much lens!!!:D

    D300, 300-800 at 600mm, f/5.6, 1/1600s, ISO 640, manual exp.

    Sweet !!! Love this image Harold One of the nicest you have posted in a while Proud of you !!! Ideally you want the beak clearing the wing for a better view but this would be a big keeper in my files !!! .. did I say I love the light !!!

    Too much lens --- never :)
    Love that wingspread and the intense look - exposure looks spot on.
    Some might wish for a little less merge with the beak and the wing.
    big congrats - like it a lot!!

    Lovely shot.

    Very soft light, lots of details, and I really like how the bird fits the frame.

    Water and bg look spot on as well.
