    Default Rock Thrush Female

As the name suggests, it seldom takes a natural perch. Hence caught this on the rock with the water body and bushes behind it.

Quite beautiful and I have no problem with the perch! I like the BG from blue to green (but I can see some horizontal artifacts at the boundary). Even though the light is pretty harsh, the subject is nicely lit. The image is sharp, in fact it seems a bit too sharp but maybe that's just me. I would crop a bit from the right to offset the subject a little.

Does the Rock Thrush over-winter in India or is it a resident breeder there (as well as Europe)?

Stunning plumage on this Lady. I like the graduated BG and the rock looks great. No nits from me.

Congrats on an excellent capture of this gorgeous bird!
Techs look great and love the BG.

Maybe a bit more room at the bottom and might trade some more room on left for less on right.

Color and tones of the BKGR are too, too sweet. The bird is sharp and beautiful. John, the light looks anything but harsh... Abdulghani: at what time was the image created? I would like to see a bit more room above and in front of the bird. Some bill clean-up would be great it that fits with your personal ethics. Having the blue/green line in the middle is less than ideal... 1/3--2/3 would be much better... Lastly, a Linear Burn on the rock would be in order.

In case you cannot tell, I like this one a lot but you could have done better :)
