A very interesting week as we learned something new. Thanks Jackie! We will re-visit this one at the end of July, so we have some time to think about it.

Here are my picks for the week:

First place - SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS by Sandy Richards - Amazing base image and PP work to get the effect in this one! Very dramatic. Congratulations Sandy!

Second place - Anhinga Chiaroscuro by Jackie Schuknecht - Nice use of the light and strong composition. Well done Jackie!

Third place - The Dancer by Nicki Gwynn Jones - I really like the high contrast, purity of the whites, and composition on this one. Nice!

Fourth place - Gorilla-ChiaroScuro by Paul Lagasi - Love the play of light and shadow on this portrait. A different approach to the theme and a strong one! Good show!

Fifth place - Calla Lily by Indranil Sircar - Lovely use of light and dark and just a bit of color. Well done!

Congratulations all, this was another tough week to judge with so many different ideas and realizations of the theme. All good work and thanks for participating! :D

Can't wait to see what 3D has in store. :)

Kerry, Great job judging as always! Congrats to all. There were some amazing images submitted. This was really a challenging topic and actually is still a challenge. That's what I love about this forum. I am always given incentive and a push to learn something new.
