I like the eyes open and the blue trunk shadow gone now. Just too too cute, got to make a perfect greeting card cover!!!
But now bit too tight crop!!! Well, can't please all the people all the time :)

Very cute indeed, and I like also like how the owl fit nicely with hole in the trunk. Does look like a large crop. Not sure about the frame around the picture though, however that a personal taste.

Comparing this and the first one will take this one hands down !!! .... you can lighten the eye a bit to make both similar and if you needed to crop stack converters !!! Under good circumstances it will work and will flatten the perspective even more !!!

Haha...mighty cute !! That's good enough reason for me.

A bit more sharpening if you are inclined :)

The little bird fits the hole perfectly.

I also prefer this one and good idea to lighten the shaded eye a bit.

    Very nicely done.

Hi - this one for me also - agree with the above suggestions.
On my screen does look a little soft - lightening and sharpening the eye's may help.
Not crazy about the frame ;)

i like this one too! working on the eyes would make a difference, but just having them open makes it better than the last one.

Very cute and love the composition - a tad soft IMO.

Good advice offered above. I definately prefer the eyes open(one of an owl's strongest characteristics) and agree the image looks a bit soft. Lightening the left eye would help...
