    A behavioural image always adds interest, and I thought the darter's head against the darker plumage on the back would add something different. Taken in the Pilanesberg nature reserve two weekends ago.

    Nice detail throughout, and I agree that it's a good behavioral shot. A slight head turn with a bit more eye contact would have been nice. And my eye is drawn to the small light-colored line near the base of the perch.

    Exposure, sharpness and BG look very good. I might give it a tad more room.
