    Hi Muriel If you give the shooting info might be easier to see what you did

    You captured a good action pose and bird is place in good postion in frame I like that you got the bird coming at you Exposure wise looks like the light was harsh which makes it difficult These birds need about perfect light to obtain a great image

    If possible we like to have the wings in the full up position They just look better and will have less shadows Only solution is to keep the shtter down and let the motor drive fire away !!!

    i cant say much more than mr alfred, but i do love the pelicans so keep the pics coming!!
