Sweet fly and lovely complementing bg !!! Might suggest more shutter speed since noise won't be much of a problem I'm sure will get suggestions of tightening up the image but looks elegant as presented !!!

    Thanks folks.
I guess that is the only way to really get the very fine detail, bump ss or perhaps use some extra lighting.

Great macro image Dave! Sharp, detailed, exposure and background. Love the little bug on the bottom, too. Looks like it's about to be drowned. What is that they're resting on?

I like the mood of this one, very dreamy for me. The droplets on the fly do add to the image but what I like best is the smooth soft tone in the background, very dreamy :D

Thanks Ann and Thanaboon. I also really liked the nice soft bg.

Ann this is a bud from a small flowering plant called Snow In Summer. It is a ground cover and we have it cascading over a small brick wall. Flowers are about 1/2" to 3/4" in diam. It is quite pretty in season and seems to attract lots of bugs! Good for macro.
