Bali in August

Hello

I am going to Bali in August and am keen to learn of some good bird watching locations I may be able to go to while there, if I can persuade my wife!! :D

We are staying in Sanur Beach and I have a particuler interest in seeing my favourite foreign finch, the Java sparrow in the wild, so any tips would be great.

Hi Steve

I am not sure where to do birdwatching in Bali. You can go to Bali bird park or Taman Nasional Bali Barat (West Bali National Park)..

If you have more time, you can go to Baluran National Park in Banyuwangi (you must cross the sea from Bali).

In Surabaya (my city) there are many birding spot. You may pm me if you have questions.
