This Passion Flower image was taken, at Merritt Island NWR, on my recent visit.

Modifications in CS4 included; Topaz Clean & Detail, Spotlight, Brightness & Contrast and Exposure adjustment.

    Enjoy!

Mark this is one cool looking flower...Is it wild? Nice PP work. I might have taken some of the green spots out in top right..but thats just me...TFS

Thanks for viewing and comments, Paul. Appreciate it.

Yes, it was wild at Merritt Island. First time I had ever seen one in the wild. Almost missed it and didn't think I got a good image, until I got home and viewed it. Sometimes life just is right! ;) I've attached the orignal, with some cropping to get rid of the big area of the BG, for your info.

I thought about cleaning up the BG a little, but liked the flow of the flower tipped that way into the cluster of green. But thanks. Understand your comment.

Mark, very nice work, but I too would darken the green areas in the BG :)

Mark, Another vote to darken or evict the green spots in BG. One of my favorites of yours! Great job w/ this one.:)

Mark, one of my favorites also:) Another vote for either darkening or evicting the green - especially the one that is vertical and right behind the passion flower. Either way - it's a really nice image.
