Default Hungryyyyyy - European Starling and Chick

one more from my backyard. In order to get such a scene with a parent and a chick I chose a thicker and more stable perch and cut out more leafes than I would usually do. The only issue was that I underestimated the size of the two birds. However, I think it still works :)
I was glad to get both in focus

here's a link to see a video of my garden set up :) LINK

An excellent image with sharp focussing, good exposure and I like the clean background. It is a pity that the adult's foot is partially obstructed by a leaf but it does not bother me. I like the leaves in the top left corner as they help to frame the birds.
Did you know that the adult is a female? The base of the bill in females is pink whilst the male has a blue base.

    Hi Jan,

I like the composition and in my opinion the leaves in the upper left hand corner are pleasing. The interaction is interesting. Well exposed with good detail. Well done.

Thanks for sharing the video link to your set-up.

Wonderful interaction captured in this image and I love the great detail and lovely BG. I would like to see a tad more canvas on top if you have it. Really beautiful and I like this a lot !! thanks for sharing Jan.

You got great colors from the adult
That image is a real joy... setting, BG and interaction make it standout.
I would add some canvas top and bottom.

Jan, this image is really special!
Love the interaction and the expressions on their faces. The irridescent colors on the adult have been so well exposed.
Thanks for sharing the video as well.
Another vote for more room above and below.
